Client Service Officer – Junior role
Canberra ACT
Salary based on experience.

You will be part of a close knit team of Client Service professionals providing a high level of administrative support to six financial planners with duties including (but not limited to):

 

  • providing full administrative support to a team of financial advisers;

  • ensuring the effective flow of communication between clients and the business;

  • striving for high levels of client service and satisfaction;

  • handling all the administrative aspects associated with the implementation of advice.This includes the paperwork associated with a variety of platforms, the administration for self-managed superannuation funds and share trading;

  • preparation of client reports;

  • responding to client queries and liaising with third parties in respect of clients’ accounts; and

  • handling miscellaneous requests from advisers and requests for assistance from other staff with good grace and humour!

 

About you

 

The applicant we are seeking would have the following:

  • an interest in Financial Planning

  • strong work ethic

  • a high level numeracy

  • a high attention to detail

  • great communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Microsoft Office Applications knowledge

  • the ability to write clearly and concisely using good grammar and punctuation

  • effective time management skills: prioritising, delegating, problem solving, scheduling.
